Sex au Naturel Arousal Serum: What It Does and How to Apply

Quick answer

Apply 1–2 drops of Sex au Naturel directly to the clitoris and surrounding area, wait 1–2 minutes for the warming, tingling sensation to build, then add more only if you want a stronger effect. Use it on clean, dry skin before lube, and never apply it inside the vagina. It is a sensitivity booster, not a lubricant, so pair it with a water-based lube if you need glide.

What Sex au Naturel Actually Does

Sex au Naturel is a clitoral arousal serum designed to increase blood flow and draw attention to the vulva and clitoris. Its key ingredient is arginine, an amino acid that supports circulation; the formula also includes other botanical extracts that create a warming or tingling sensation. This is not a lubricant and does not replace one. It is a focus tool: it makes the clitoris feel more present and responsive, which can help if you experience reduced sensation or want to stay more engaged during solo or partnered play.

How to Apply It Step by Step

Start with clean, dry skin. Wash your hands and the area with mild soap and water, then pat dry. Moisture can dilute the serum and reduce its effect. If you are using it with a toy, apply the serum first, let it absorb, then add lube to the toy—not the other way around.

How It Compares to Lube

Lube reduces friction; arousal serum increases sensation. They solve different problems. If you are dry or using a toy with drag, you need lube. If you feel numb or distracted, the serum helps. You can use both, but apply the serum first, wait a minute, then apply lube on top or on the toy. Oil-based lubes can degrade silicone toys, so stick with water-based or hybrid formulas when combining with a serum and a silicone toy.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

The biggest mistake is using too much. Start with one drop; you can always add more. Another is applying it to broken skin or inside the vagina—this serum is for external use only. If you feel intense burning rather than a pleasant tingle, wash it off with mild soap and water. Also, don't expect it to work instantly; give it a minute or two. Finally, check the ingredient list if you have sensitive skin or allergies; arginine is generally well tolerated, but patch-test on your inner wrist first.

Application Steps

1. Cleanse and dry: Wash your hands and the vulva with mild soap and water, then pat completely dry. Moisture dilutes the serum and dulls the effect. Checkpoint: skin should feel dry before you apply anything.
2. Start with one drop: Dispense a single drop onto your fingertip and spread it over the clitoris and immediate surrounding area. Do not rub it in vigorously; let it sit. Mistake to avoid: using multiple drops at once. You can always add more, but you cannot take it back.
3. Wait and assess: Wait 1–2 minutes. You should feel a gentle warming or tingling. If it feels too strong or burns, wash it off immediately with mild soap and water. Checkpoint: a pleasant tingle is normal; pain is not.
4. Add lube if needed: If you want more glide, apply a water-based lube on top or on your toy. Do not use oil-based lube with silicone toys. Next step: reapply serum only after the first layer has fully absorbed, and only if you want more intensity.
